Francisco is a first generation college graduate, earning a Bachelors of Arts in Political Science and a minor in Public Policy from the University of California Los Angeles. After graduating, Francisco returned home to San Ysidro, CA. Active in his community, Francisco served for 5 years on the San Ysidro Community Planning Group. Francisco is Sole Proprietor of Castañeda Communications, providing general Campaign Consulting and Project Management services.
