Served as Shelter Manager at the Asylum Family Shelter operated by Jewish Family Service San Diego and the San Diego Rapid Response Network. Oversaw shelter operations, family services, and volunteer coordination, with a team of over 20 staff and volunteers. Fostered a Trauma Informed environment to welcome international asylum seekers being released from Federal Immigration custody. Worked with healthcare partners, including SD County Public Health, UCSD Health, and community health clinics to provide services to asylum seeking families. Coordinated with SD County Public Health to provide crisis services during Asylum Flu Outbreak. Directed daily operations of case management, and medical services, and travel coordination, serving over 20,000 families.
